Overview
What this program is.
WordPress
The longest program, and the one that ends with something publicly online. The first half covers building: installation, pages, layouts, responsive design and styling. The second half covers everything that separates a hobby site from a delivered project: plugins, performance, DNS, SSL, SEO, backups and client handoff.

Not topics covered, but things you will be able to produce on your own once the program is finished.
Set up from nothing
Register a domain, configure hosting, install WordPress, and understand what each of those three things actually does.
Build complete pages
Construct a homepage and inner pages with blocks, then make them work on desktop, tablet and mobile.
Control the design
Use the site editor, themes and global styles, and drop into basic CSS when the theme will not do what you need.
Harden and speed up a site
Add forms, SEO, security and backups, then optimise loading so the site does not lose visitors.
Take a site live
Move a build from local to a live server, set up SSL and HTTPS, and connect Search Console.
Run a client project
Quote the work, take a deposit, build to a brief, document the site and hand it over cleanly.
