What this program is.
Adobe Ps + Ai
Two software tracks in one program. Photoshop covers everything that happens to an image: selection, retouching, colour, composition. Illustrator covers everything that has to scale: logos, icons, and vector identity. You finish with an advertising poster and a full brand kit.
Outcomes
What you can do at the end.
Not topics covered, but things you will be able to produce on your own once the program is finished.
Cut out and retouch
Remove backgrounds cleanly, fix skin and lighting, and correct colour so a photo looks intentional rather than filtered.
Design for social and print
Build Instagram and Facebook posts, posters, flyers and business cards at the right size and resolution the first time.
Draw in vector
Create logos, icons and illustrations that stay sharp at any size, using the pen tool, Pathfinder and Shape Builder.
Build a brand identity
Take a name and turn it into a logo, colour system, typography choice and a set of applied pieces.
Present work properly
Place your designs onto realistic mockups so clients see the finished product, not a flat file.
Work with clients
Price a job, take a deposit, handle revisions and deliver final files in the formats clients actually need.
